European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films (ESFUF) Officially Launched by EFAD

The European Film Agency Directors (EFAD) association, alongside nineteen national cultural ministries, officially launched the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films (ESFUF) in February 2023. The fund established dedicated financial mechanisms for co-producing, finalizing, and distributing Ukrainian feature films, providing a structural European funding solution that acknowledged the systemic disruption caused by Russia's full-scale invasion.
