Docudays UA Establishes Annual Victor Award in Memory of Film Editor Victor Onysko

On December 17, 2025 — the birthday of the late film editor Victor Onysko — Docudays UA formally established the annual Victor Award to honor excellence in film editing within the Ukrainian documentary film tradition. The award was created as a lasting institutional tribute to Victor Onysko, who died in combat while serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on December 30, 2022, following a distinguished career as editor of Zakhar Berkut, Viddana, and other significant Ukrainian features.
