Ukrainian Institute of America Inaugurates Summer Film Showcase in New York City

The Ukrainian Institute of America inaugurated a summer showcase in New York City in July 2022, presenting eleven feature films and twenty-two short films to North American audiences. The slate featured the North American premiere of director Olesya Morhunets-Isayenko's historical drama Carol of the Bells (Ukrainian: Щедрик), written by screenwriter Kseniya Zastavska with cinematography by Yevhen Kirey.
