The Witch. Revenge Sets Domestic Genre Record at Ukrainian Theatrical Opening

FILM.UA released the horror feature The Witch. Revenge (Ukrainian: Конотопська відьма) in August 2024, grossing ₴57.44 million domestically and establishing a new record for a Ukrainian genre horror production at the domestic box office. The film demonstrated that Ukrainian audiences had developed a robust appetite for domestically produced genre cinema.

Director Yaroslav Turyanitsa, screenwriter Yaroslav Voitseshek, and director of photography Kostyantyn Ponomarov delivered the breakout horror thriller.
