The House 'Slovo'. Unfinished Novel Opens Nationwide in Ukrainian Cinemas

Taras Tomenko's historical drama The House "Slovo". Unfinished Novel opened nationwide across Ukrainian cinemas in May 2024, drawing major audience interest for its portrayal of the legendary 1930s Kharkiv artistic generation that inhabited the Slovo apartment building before many were arrested or killed under Stalinist repression.

Director Taras Tomenko co-wrote the screenplay with poet Lyubov Yakymchuk, with cinematography by director of photography Oleksandr Kryshtalovych.
