Mavka. The Forest Song Sets All-Time Domestic Box Office Record at Ukrainian Theatrical Premiere

Animagrad Studio and FILM.UA Group released the animated feature Mavka. The Forest Song (Ukrainian: Мавка. Лісова пісня) in Ukrainian theaters in March 2023, immediately setting all-time domestic box office records for Ukrainian releases. The film ultimately earned over ₴156 million domestically and more than $21 million globally, distributed across more than eighty countries.

Directors Oleh Malamuzh and Oleksandra Ruban led the animated production with screenwriter Yaroslav Voytseshek, creating Ukraine's most commercially successful domestic theatrical release in national cinema history.
