Following its record-breaking domestic theatrical premiere, Mavka. The Forest Song was presented as the completed feature headliner at the Cartoon Movie animation forum in Bordeaux, France, in March 2023. The presentation introduced the film to leading European animation distributors and buyers, initiating discussions that led to its commercial distribution in over eighty foreign territories.

Directors Oleh Malamuzh and Oleksandra Ruban and the Animagrad production team represented the film at Bordeaux.
