Ivan Ostrochovsky and Pavol Pekarčík's documentary Photophobia, chronicling the lives of Kharkiv residents who took shelter in the city's metro station network to survive Russian bombardment, opened nationwide in Ukrainian theaters in December 2024. The film presented an intimate portrait of underground civilian life beneath one of Ukraine's most consistently targeted cities.
