Docudays UA Launches 'State of Emergency' Online Documentary Screening Platform

Unable to hold its physical festival in Kyiv due to active security risks, Docudays UA launched an online curation platform titled State of Emergency in June 2022. The initiative presented works-in-progress, non-fiction shorts, and finished documentary features to international industry buyers and audiences, ensuring the continuity of Ukraine's premier human rights documentary festival.

Docudays UA festival leadership coordinated the digital platform, maintaining vital connections between Ukrainian documentary filmmakers and international distributors and programmers.
