Prayer of Strangers

Based on a true story of a Crimean Tatar woman who saved many Jewish children during World War II. The feature will be premiered on May 18, 2017 – the date of commemoration of the Crimean Tatars deportation. Directed by Akhtem Seitablayev known for ‘Khaytarma’.

A new film by Volodymyr Lert will be premiered in 2017. The feature is based on a play by Grygoriy Gorin which is widely staged in theatres across Eastern Europe for 30 years already. In turn, it revolves around Tevye the Dairyman cycle by Sholem Aleichem.

Mavka – Work in Progress

The creators of a feature animation ‘Mavka’ have shared their work-in-progress promo which received appraisals at the ‘Cartoon Movie’ pitching event in Bordeaux (France). The movie should feature costumes designed by Ukrainian stylist Olha Navrotska and music by famous DakhaBrakha.
