“Synevir” is a 100% Ukrainian production. The actors and investments involved are coming from Ukraine. Some national myths and legends could be found in its plot.
This is a next attempt to present the review of Ukrainian film industry. The review includes the most actual statistic information on new film projects, financial indicators, the key players of the industry. In the last year there were released 14 Ukrainian or Ukraine-coproduced feature films, 12 shorts, 15 documentaries, 3 animation films.
A Ukrainian-Turkish production entitled “Love Me” became one of the winners of the first open pitching for public funding. The companies envolve are TATOFILM (Ukraine) and KARAKIRMIZIFILM (Turkey).
