Ukrainian Director Maryna Vroda In Cannes

The Ukrainian short film by Maryna Vroda was selected for the competition program of the 64-th Cannes Film Festival. It is a French-Ukrainian co-production titled ‘Cross’.

Marina was born in 1982 in Kiev. In 2007 she graduated from Kiev National University of Theatre, Film and Television named after I. Karpenko-Kary, Department of Cinematography, specializing in directing of feature films. In total the short film competition will show nine films. This year jury in the program is headed by Michel Gondry.
