Dimitri Duzhev, Eugenia Krukova, Danila Kozlovsky, Andrei Fomin, Victor Suhorukov are invited for a role of Claudius, Gertrude, Laertes, Polonius and Ozrik. Armen Dzhygarchanan will act the part of the grave digger. The film is being shot in the caves near Sevastopol and Balaklava. Vorontsov Palace will turn into the Hamlet’s Ellsinore family castle in the film.

“We ask ourselves the question “to be or not to be?” for today, during the whole life. But it is necessary to ask it as early as possible, not only in age of 30 or 40. This thing stipulates the main film conception and the actor casting. Our view of Shakespeare is vital. Therefore actors of twenty will play the parts of Hamlet, Ophelia and Horatio” Yuri Kara said.
