The comedy “Bruno,” starring British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, will not be shown in Ukrainian cinemas. The movie was scheduled to premiere on July 23, but the The Ukrainian Culture and Tourism Ministry decided to ban the distribution and demonstration of the film in the country.
Ukrainian singer Ruslana was invited by CCTV Chinese TV Company to act in the film about the culture of European countries. The represents of the CCTV Company came to Ukraine to negotiate about shooting the film with Dovzhenko National Film Studio collaboration and asked the singer to take part in the shooting.

Ukrainian documentary film ‘Not Alone At Home’ by Olena Fetisova was awarded with The Silver Knight at The 18th International Film Forum ‘Golden Knight’ in Russia. There were more than 204 films from 24 countries in the Film Forum’s competitive program.
