The feature documentary about famous Ukrainian freak cabaret band Dakh Daughters is announced to premiere in 2017. The film is directed by Iryna Stetsenko who is also a sound producer of the band. Numerous musical performances are captured along with the band traveling across many countries in their concert tour.
Today Kyiv will host premiere of a new documentary feature by Vitaliy Mansky known for his North-Korean movie ‘Under The Sun’. The new film titled ‘Ridni’ meaning ‘Kinsfolk’ and tells the stories of families divided by the Russian assault on Ukraine.
The debut feature of Juri Rechinsky (originally titled ‘Sichen-Berezen’) will premiere at Rotterdam Film Festival. This is an Austria-Ukraine co-production with a multinational cast and crew.
