Ukrainian State Agency for Cinematography reported to the press on April 9, about the results since 2011, and shared the planes for the future.

Over 20 feature films of Ukrainian production of various genres are expected to be released in 2013 in Ukraine, as reported by the State Agency on Cinematography of Ukraine.

Dr. Linda Seger, author of the book ‘Making a Good Script Great’, held a seminar on script writing and script doctoring. The one-day seminar took place in Kiev, Ukraine on 22 march 2013 for over 150 professionals from Ukraine and Russia.

There are six Ukrainian titles in production now. Toloka Ukrainian studio “Ilyenko film” starts filming the feature Toloka, based on the works of Taras Shevchenko. The results of theatrical distribution in Ukraine in 2012 showed the general market growth for about 10% with the total box-office over $100M for the period 01.12.2011 till 29.12.2012. Total number of tickets sold in Ukraine reached 19 mln for 265 films released in the movie-theaters.
