Odessa International Film Festival Takes An Award

Odessa International Film Festival (OIFF) received an award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) – one of the most prestigious  international association of journalists, existing for almost 70 years and managing Golden Globe award.

HFPA president Gabriel Lerman presented the award to OIFF President Victoria Tigipko.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association was founded in the early 1940s by the Los Angeles journalists from different countries, covering the U.S. entertainment industry. Today there are 93 media representatives from 53 countries in the HFPA, with a total readership reachin 250 million people. HFPA is best known for the establishment of the Golden Globe, which is awarded for achievements in film and television since 1944.
