The 1st Odessa International Film Festival Is Over

On 24 July 2010, at the closing ceremony the jury announced the winners of the First Odessa International Film Festival.
The Grand Prix of the festival was given to the film Minors under-16s by Andriy Kavun (Russia). The film also was honoured with the Audience’s Award.
Juliusz Machulski (Poland) won The Best Film Director Award for the film Lullaby.
Jaap Spijkers was named the best actor for his acting work in the movie Cakeman, directed by Annemari van de Mond (The Netherlands).
Just two films received The Special Jury Prize: My suicide, by David Lee Miller (USA) and the film October, directed by Daniel and Diego Vega (Peru).
The festival took place in Odessa – city near the Black Sea since 16 till 24 July, 2010.
